Sometimes, life takes unexpected turns and we find ourselves with limited resources to put a meal on the table. When it comes time to focus on items that are readily available in our cupboards, fridge and/or freezers, be it perishable items or canned/dried, these recipes are going to make sure you get a spectacular meal on the table in record time.
If a recipe calls for spices or ingredients you currently don’t have on hand, don’t worry! I call out the main ingredients you’ll only need to focus on under each recipe below. From there, feel free to leave out whatever else you don’t have and improvise with substitutes that you DO have in your cupboards. Remember, SEASONINGS ARE EVERYTHING AND MAKE THE BLANDEST FOOD COME TO LIFE! And frozen meats and veggies can always be used in place of fresh, if necessary. Basically speaking, use the recipe as a blueprint and put your own delicious touches on it!
