About Jeffrey

Hiya! My name is Jeffrey Eisner, a “nice, Jewish boy from Long Island.” Once upon a time, I was a video producer in the public relations/advertising world for nearly 10 years, but I was never fulfilled creatively. And so as a passion project in 2017, I created Pressure Luck Cooking, this cooking blog which focuses heavily on the latest electric pressure cooking trend. It all began with a video I filmed of myself on a snowy day making Mac & Cheese. I then shared it on YouTube and Facebook and it quickly began to take off. From there, I decided to leave the corporate world behind and fully focus on recipe creating.

I’ve been seen on national television over 20 times. I was a finalist on the Food Network’s inaugural Ultimate Hanukkah Challenge where Duff Goldman and Molly Yeh praised my creativity. I have also had recurring appearances on Good Morning America and Rachael Ray amongst being interviewed on various large-market news stations across the United States. I’ve been written about in many publications but this feature written on my famous all-in-one-pot Turkey, Stuffing & Gravy in the New York Post is one of my favorites.

Now I want to make one thing super clear: I am NOT a professional chef. My cooking school was sitting in the kitchen with my Grandma Lil as a child as she made her famous Stuffed Cabbage (and even that was super lax since she never wrote down a recipe she created). I love making serious flavors come to life with the simplest and most accessible ingredients and the easiest instructions. If you’ve never cooked before and want to truly “wow” yourself and whoever you make meals for, THIS is the website for you. From comfort to lighter, carnivore to vegan, there is something for everyone here across an array of cuisines. In a nutshell, if I can make delicious food, you most certainly can too.

I live in the tri-state area with my dapper partner Richard and sassy Norwich Terrier, Banjo. I greatly enjoy discovering local eateries, stuffing my face on dim sum runs in Flushing (Queens), traveling (all over), attending live theatre and I can’t resist a visit to a Disney park.
